It took at least half an hour to drill the rivets out of this purse and I am sweating.  I succeed though.  The strap pulled on this fake leather too hard and broke my wife’s favorite purse. I proceed to re-rivet(new word?) the strap back onto its bag forgetting that a rivet requires strength.  Again I am sweating and wishing the unit in my building came with a workbench in a shop.   Actually, I want it to resemble my Pop’s garage so I know there are tools and hardware for any recipe I can think of.  Electrical,  carpentry, or even a good meatball.

All I have been doing is watching more seasons of Buffy on Hulu, expanding my Netflix, and during the day, listening to the radio.  Welcome back.  Most recently though, started writing more. The Beta Band has just been introduced to me by kexp’s Cheryl Waters and I have an excuse to play my jaw harp now.  It’s in.  The band sounds like they are foreign, or educated.   I once requested a Blind Melon song about a killer but the station doesn’t have it.  The kazoo was apparent in that one.  If anyone has heard Pascal Comelade check them out. They do I Can’t Control Myself, a Buzzcocks song, as if it were a classical piece of music. The balloon doesn’t really sound like a part of the song though.

So long television.  Now I research everything I hear on the radio, be it news or music or even that commercial. I was right about The Beta Band being foreign and here is a link to Pascal Comelade live. Cheers
